Shout out to Picnic Studio a progressive art space for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Pasadena, California.
Our art studio and gallery will be a shared space, functioning like an artist residency program while also hosting exhibitions, poetry readings, movie nights, and more. Picnic Studio will be an inclusive space where we can build a stronger community—something that is imperative in today’s world.
Can’t wait to see all the amazing things they do!
FROM THE COLLECTIVE

NOEL HATFIELD is a seventy-three-year-old self-taught artist from Winterset, Iowa. Working in oil paint on stretched canvas or dibond aluminum, Noel paints in several styles, including Abstract, Expressionist, and Impasto, with a knife and brush. When he is not painting, he’s usually taking care of his adorable grandchildren.
