Well, as a bit of a shameless plug, this week’s find of the week is a find that just arrived at my house and is now finding you — this brilliant piece by Kay Le Seelleur Ara.
I loved it, my boys loved it, I can’t wait to get it out to New York City to the Outsider Art Fair for everyone to see. I’ve got about ten more from the brilliant artist from Jersey (not New Jersey, Jersey — the little island off the coast of France).
Kay, who attended art school decades ago, but now is in her 80s and largely immobile due to an accident a few years ago, has been painting up a storm, some of these wonderfully surreal and beautiful works of art full of life. Her story is incredible, her work is brilliant. There’s a lot more where this came from!
