Excursion: a short journey or trip, especially one engaged in as a leisure activity.
Welcome to a long-overdue new artwork drop. I'm still amazed anytime I see self-taught artist and mother of three Reneesha Mccoy create new works, I'm exhausted just thinking about it. But she continues to amaze and create, seemingly in new and different, calming, and peaceful ways. Only eleven are currently available, these acrylic on canvas works measure 6 inches by 8 inches and could be yours today!
SHOUT OUT
Shout out to Charles Art Jerry and his Haitian art students. In June 2016, Jerry started Art School Jerry as a way to “educate children in his neighborhood about art and their cultural heritage”. You can purchase original works of art by these talented students, in which 100% of the proceeds going back to support the school in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, from artist Michael McGrath’s website.
FROM THE COLLECTIVE

ESTEBAN WHITESIDE is a self-taught painter whose work is based on the intersectionality of street art and politics. A native of Asheville, North Carolina, he began painting as an act of love. This then led to him dedicating more time and research into painting, with an interest in abstraction.
