UNKNOWN Antique Carnival Knockdown “Punks” (c. early 1900s) via Undeveloped Eye

Who doesn’t love a good punk? I stumbled upon these knockdown punks from the wonderful Undeveloped Eye the other day, and instantly fell in love. Knockdown punks are handmade, hand-painted, little rascals you’d find at the circus decades ago. They’d stare at you, laugh at you when you miss, and now are widely sought after as collectibles because they look so damn rad.

These punks are available for purchase via Undeveloped Eye.

✌️ every wednesday, this bonus newsletter with bonus outsider art content, including exhibit listings, personal collection highlights, and news of the week, will be sent to paid subscribers. The weekly ‘This Week in Outsider Art’ newsletter that goes out every Sunday morning continues to and will always be free of charge — enjoy ✌️
