RONALD SLOAN One Dream Passes Into Another (date unknown) // Acrylic painting on paper; 22.25'' x 28.5'', 57 x 72 cm

I really like this work. It kinda feels like a good representation of how maybe most of us feel these days.

Sorry… It’s a little hard to concentrate as I write this and watch the results come in for the New York City democratic primary for Mayor. Because, uh, it’s a little exciting considering who has won* and the one guy who already conceded and lost!

Make art, buy art, celebrate artists.

This work and many more are hitting the auction block today, via Material Culture, Wednesday, June 25th starting at 9am CT.

✌️ every wednesday, this bonus newsletter with bonus outsider art content, including exhibit listings, personal collection highlights, and news of the week, will be sent to paid subscribers. The weekly ‘This Week in Outsider Art’ newsletter that goes out every Sunday morning continues to and will always be free of charge — enjoy ✌️

Miss the pop-up? No problem! This one-day event turned into a multi-day event with artwork continuing to be on display at The Dust Collective (open Wednesday - Saturday / 11am - 6pm) for the next few weeks! Or shop online.
