FIND OF THE WEEK
Back-to-back weeks featuring Native artists? Hell yeah. This week I bring you a work titled “Sedna & Her Child” by Intuit artist Ningiukulu Teevee. This work is a brilliant display of mixed media with color pencil and ink on paper. I was able to see it in person last week in Seattle as I was out exploring the city, I stumbled into Steibrueck Native Gallery, a magical group of folks that have been working with Native artists for decades. Throughout the entire gallery I was mesmerized by the colors, the movement, and joy that each work brought me. Nothing like exploring new cities and finding wonderful galleries doing wonderful things!
This work is available for purchase at the Steinbrueck Native Gallery in Seattle
