I don’t know about you but I’m not ready for spooky season to be over yet. While my neighbors put up Christmas lights and we make plans for Thanksgiving, I still am trying to watching a classic horror film before bed and not planning on taking down our Halloween decorations anytime soon. So imagine my delight when I was looking for some early 1900’s folk art hooked rugs and I instead stumbled upon this incredible Frankenstein afghan rug. My friend and fellow Instagram art influencer MePaintsMe was so impressed they went out and found another, this one with three Frankensteins. The color, the patterns and the size of his feet, hands, arms, and head are just perfect. Bravo!

B-B-BONUS
I check the mail every day like it’s my birthday, and I’m expecting cards from all my friends, and they all have hundred dollar bills in them. That never happens. It’s mainly just bills even though I've opted for electronic billing to save paper. But a few weeks ago I received something better than bills and birthday cards: a catalog for the upcoming Slotin Folk Art: Self-Taught Masterpieces. Holy cow was I blown away. I was like a kid making a list for Santa, and I couldn’t dog-ear any more pages if I tried. My fingers would hurt!
