FIND OF THE WEEK

Wooden Door Handle (c. 1900s) via Trinket

File this under something I didn’t know I needed in my life but glad it exists! Unsurprisingly, I stumbled upon this gem at Trinket LA’s online gallery, owned and operated my the super talented tattoo artist Lewellyn Mejia, aka Mr. Blue, featuring his large collection or largely folk art objects and trinkets from Mexico.

Wooden Door Handle (c. 1900s) via Trinket

This, is an American figural wooden door handle from the early 1900s. This little old man, wearing a delightful hat who looks like he has had just enough of everyone using his tongue to open doors would look beautiful in your home, on a door or on a shelf, or wherever it’s your house.

I’m currently remodeling our home, and while we are trying to get back in as soon as possible and not adding anymore to the to do list — I may try and run this one by my wife for all the door handles!

This piece is currently available for purchase via Trinket LA.
